Johnson Controls achieves prestigious CDP ‘A’ score for environmental leadership

This recognition by CDP underscores Johnson Controls’ commitment to sustainable practices that benefit both business and the environment. In the U.S., Children’s of Alabama leveraged our OpenBlue AI-powered platform to achieve nearly $170,000 in annual energy cost savings — on top of the $700,000 saved using our efficient chillers and heat pumps. The trifecta is transforming operations, lowering costs and helping customers operate more sustainably.

Achieving an ‘A’ on the list places Johnson Controls among the global leaders demonstrating comprehensive disclosure, mature environmental governance, and meaningful action that drives greater resilience. Johnson Controls received an ‘A’ in multiple categories including: business strategy, emissions reduction initiatives and low carbon products, opportunity disclosure, risk disclosure, and scope 3 emissions.
