Robert joined Johnson Controls with the acquisition of Vue Technology where he was CEO. He brings over 30 years of experience in operations, finance, and M&A to his role. Robert has held a number of executive and entrepreneurial positions including Venture Partner at J.P. Morgan Capital, and founder or CEO of 5 startups, including Kelmscott Communications, a $100 million graphic arts company which is now a part of RR Donnelley. Senior Director, JCI Ventures
Rain leads corporate venture for Johnson Controls International; she believes it is a great privilege to work alongside and help entrepreneurs build transformative and disruptive companies. Prior to joining JCI Ventures, Rain worked at GE Ventures where she helped advise on strategic and financial healthcare startup investments to drive growth for GE and its startup partners. She started her career in healthcare analytics, serving as Director of Biostatistics at a bioinformatics startup as well as a life sciences data analytics consultant. From 2016-2018, Rain was a Corporate Venture Advisor on the National Venture Capital Association's Corporate Advisory Group and she was recognized as one of Global Corporate Venturing’s Top 20 Rising Stars in 2018 and in 2019.
