Drucker Institute lists Johnson Controls among the best-run companies in the United States, according to its Management Top 250 ranking for 2020.

Johnson Controls ranks among the best-run companies in the United States, according to this year’s Drucker Institute’s Management Top 250.
The list, recently published in the Wall Street Journal, places Johnson Controls 88th in the annual ranking. The company received its highest marks in social responsibility, getting 5 stars for its performance in this area. It also received 4 stars in customer satisfaction and innovation.

The Management Top 250 ranking, developed by the Drucker Institute, measures corporate effectiveness by examining performance in five areas: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength. The ranking is based on an analysis of 33 data inputs provided by 14 third-party sources.
Microsoft was the top company on the 2020 list, followed by Apple, IBM, Amazon and Alphabet.
